I forgot that post didn't really explain the quote. During the course of preparations for a graduation party for me and Adam in POC Dad had to ask Uncle Danny for help with some things. Danny of course helped a lot, but he bitched and treated Dad like a dumbass the whole time. Dad pulled me aside and said "I appreciate his help, but, damn, if you're going to be kind, just be kind. Don't be a kind asshole."
